Description
First impressions last! Working with SamanPey as an Engineer intern was my very first interaction with the professional and work environment. After passing most of my undergrad coursework, I decided to work in a harsh but close-to-reality work environment. Therefore, I became an engineer intern in a copper mine complex in southern Iran. I woke up every day at 6:00 AM to check in at 8:00 AM to the project. Learning the state of the practice engineering concept and working on an image processing project were notable highlights of my internship with SamanPey. I collected stationed and drone images frequently and developed a model to calculate the earthwork quantity using Digital Elevation Models (DEM) in MATLAB.
